I’ve been driven by art since I was a young girl. Happily, I have made it a priority of mine to find beauty every day – even in the smallest of details.

When I was a teenager and my passion for art and creativity really started to form, I clung to photography. I had grown up taking rolls of film to the local store and waiting for my images to be developed. It was the first true expression of art, and food quickly followed. I made it a point to make what I was eating as enjoyable and pleasing as possible and that meant making it look as beautiful as it tasted.

When I got my first DSLR out of high school, I started taking pictures of my food – but not until I had carefully styled each component on my plate. That was the year I decided to design a board of my favorite “pickings” for my extended family for Christmas Eve. Cheeses, fruits, unique crackers and spiced preserves proudly and beautifully held their place on a massive wooden cutting board, and that was it. It was a gift to my family, and curated to create an experience for them. After placing my finishing delicate touches to the board I’d arranged with love, I stepped back and watched everyone take it in. That’s when I realized the true importance of what I had created. It wasn’t just food. It was a meeting place for my loved ones who were now sharing a delicious experience together. It was comfort. Chatter filled the air and laughter grew as they stood around that one central location, tasting everything their eyes and mouths feasted on.

To me, there is absolutely no reason to deny pleasure and cut corners. If you’re going to eat a peach, eat the most gorgeous peach you can find. Enjoy every aspect of that thing from the way it looks, to the way it tastes and the way it feels in your mouth. We have beauty and pleasure all around us, and we should be utilizing our senses to experience as much of it as we can every day.

I decided I wouldn’t stop after making that very first board. Every holiday, birthday, graduation party or special event was a reason for me to pour my heart and soul into creating, and into providing that same experience of comfort and enjoyment around a board for my friends and family. The boards were always received with much excitement, and it was always known that everyone would draw together to experience the joy of eating an edible piece of art.

So, here we are.

Nearly a decade later – I’m ready to share my talent, knowledge and love for cheese and charcuterie boards with you. Leaving the corporate world in the middle of a pandemic to start my business might be scary, but I am so ready to hit the ground running and do what drives me and what I love. The idea of providing future clients with an unforgettable experience is absolutely what keeps me going.

I have so enjoyed spending the last few years refining my skill. Each empty board that I start with is a blank canvas, and without a specific plan of placement, I am able to create something unique, fresh and brand new every single time.

It is so important to me to to support local business and farmers as much as I can. I see the amount of effort and care that goes in to making sure that individuals are happy with the products they provide, instead of cutting corners and producing just to make money and please the masses. I also like knowing that I’m helping a small shop owner or a local farmer who has likely sacrificed a lot in order to produce these things, and not just lining the pockets of a major corporation.

I am truly so grateful for each person I’ve been lucky enough to meet during this journey so far, and I continue to strive to provide an excellent, one-of-a-kind experience for each of you. I can’t wait to come to your table and share a little bit of love, a little bit of cheese, and a lot of joy with you.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.
